Kent State University offers a of resources, contact information and eligibility requirements for smoking cessation services for university employees. Please note that nicotine replacement therapy and prescription coverage for medications prescribed for smoking cessation will be covered effective July 1, 2016. This coverage is extended to employees and their eligible dependents, age 18 and older, covered under the university-sponsored drug plan with CVS Health. Open Enrollment Fairs, Biometric Screenings and Flu Shots
Open Enrollment is Oct. 13-31. The Employee Benefits and Wellness teams, as well as representatives from the University’s various benefits providers, will be present to answer questions. 2025 Annual Pay Increase Eligibility and Information for Non-Represented Staff
At Kent State University, our employees are our most valued resource. The Board of Trustees approved a 2% pay increase for all qualifying, non-represented staff (i.e., classified and unclassified employees). The 2% increase will take effect with the pay period that includes Oct. 1, 2025. More specific details, including eligibility, are listed below.
