The Kent State College of Public Health is offering its Spring semester 2026 Interprofessional Education (IPE) training for graduate students in public health and other disciplines in two sessions on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, 3:30 - 5:30 pm and Thursday, April 16, 2026, 3:30 - 4:30 pm Eastern Time.  Attendance at both sessions is required.  This training will be offered virtually in Teams.  There is no charge for attendance, but pre-registration is required.

MPH students must participate in one IPE event like this one to satisfy their degree requirement.  Although attendance at only one IPE is required during the MPH course of study, students who have attended a previous session are also welcome to attend.
The focus of this training will be Building Cross-Sectoral Relationships for Emergency Preparedness and Response: How Public Health, Health Care, Emergency Management and Industry Work Together.
In these sessions students will have the opportunity to develop their competency in interprofessional practice.

MPH students must complete the IPE prerequisite course before the event.   This prerequisite course - Interprofessional Practice for Population Health - is free and self-paced course and is available at .  You are not required to request continuing education (CE) credits for the course - a screenshot of your course completion screen or email is sufficient to satisfy your prerequisite for this training. Retain this documentation - you will be required to submit it later.  You will receive an IPE Canvas course invitation the week before the event with learning materials and instructions.
