âMen On Boatsâ is described as âa true(ish) comedic feminist retelling of John Wesley Powellâs death-defying adventure down the Grand and Colorado Rivers with nine amateur explorers in 1869.â
The play is presented by students in Kent Stateâs School of Theatre and Dance. It opened on April 19 and will have its final performance on April 27 in the Wright-Curtis Theatre, Center for the Performing Arts.
