Salem Community Foundation Tuition Grant
SALEM COMMUNITY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP 2026-2027
The Salem Community Foundation Scholarship is designed to assist current Kent State Salem students enrolled in a post-secondary undergraduate educational program.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Read the guidelines below carefully and then complete the application in its entirety. The Scholarship Committee will review applications and determine the amount of each scholarship awarded.
GUIDELINES AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Kent State Salem students with a permanent residence and living within the Salem, West Branch, South Range, United and Leetonia Village school districts (for at least one year) are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must be pursuing their first associate or first bachelor鈥檚 degree.
- Applicants must attend Kent State University at Salem.
- There is no minimum GPA requirement for first year students, but a current Kent State Salem student or transfer student must have a 2.00 cumulative GPA.
- Early admission and PUG students are not eligible for this grant.
- This program is for the fall and spring semesters only.
Beginning with the 2026 Fall Semester:
New 2026 high school graduates will each be awarded $500.00 for the 2026 Fall Semester. For future terms, award amounts will be based on application and award guidelines.
Students can apply:
- Before June 30, through ScholarshipUniverse.
- After June 30, you must by the deadlines below and create a profile on ScholarshipUniverse
NOTE:
Fall 2026 deadline is SEPT. 1, 2026
Spring 2027 deadline is JAN. 30, 2027
Fall applicants will be automatically reviewed for spring eligibility.
