I AM FIRST Week of Celebration

Regional Campuses - November 3-7, 2025

Below are events that will take place at the Ashtabula, East Liverpool, Trumbull, and Salem campuses to celebrate First-generation students, staff, faculty, and alumni.

Monday, November 3rd, 2025

Cheers to You, First Gen!

Description: Giveaways in Campus Center - Kent State University at Stark cups for First Gen students. Campus Life staff will be there to CELEBRATE our students!
Time: 12pm-1pm

First Gen BINGO

Description: Join us for an hour of fun as we play a couple rounds of BINGO! Hosted by first gen staff and advocates, we’ll have fun prizes and snacks for students.

Description: Kent State Geauga and Twinsburg Academic Center invite you to “First-Generation Stories: Lunch with Faculty & Staff,” where faculty and staff will share their experiences as first-generation students. Join us on Tuesday, November 4 at the Twinsburg Academic Center Flash Bistro or Thursday, November 6 at the Geauga Campus Clark Commons from 12:15–1:00 p.m.
