"I chose Kent State鈥檚 MCLS Department because it is one of the few institutions in the United States that offers a dedicated PhD in Translation Studies. Beyond its unique position, the department has a particularly strong and respected faculty. In my case, Dr. Baer鈥檚 research areas align closely with my own interests, and his influential contributions to Translation Studies played an important role in my decision. Knowing that I would have the opportunity to work within such a well-established academic environment made the MCLS Department the ideal choice for me."
