Kent State University Police investigated an unverified threat at Kent Hall that was received this morning. University police worked with federal and other law enforcement partners to assess the threat. Based on the investigation, police have determined that the threat is not credible. The threat is similar to those received recently at other schools and institutions. All classes and activities on campus will continue as scheduled.As always, if you see something suspicious, please report it to Kent State Police at 330-672-2212....

Funding
The Student Venture Funds were established to help support student-initiated businesses that have been approved by the John S. and Marlene J. Brinzo Center for Entrepreneurship. The Venture Assessment Grant is geared toward students with a proposed business while the Venture Growth Grant is intended for students that have a completed business plan, feasibility analysis and are committed to launching the venture.
