The legacy and dedication of Connie Espenschied Hess, one of Kent State University at Tuscarawas’ first employees, will carry on after her passing in 2020 with the establishment of a new scholarship that encourages students to be their best. The Connie Espenshied Hess Make a Difference Scholarship was created to perpetuate Hess’ mission of encouraging all students to continue their formal education after high school no matter their circumstances.
