Lou Holtz, a Kent State University alumnus who became one of college football's most successful and charismatic coaches, leading the University of Notre Dame to a national championship and six different programs to bowl games during his storied career, has died. He was 89.

Kent State Adds Women's Wrestling

Kent State University announced today that women鈥檚 wrestling will become the athletics department鈥檚 20th varsity sport, marking a historic addition to the Golden Flashes athletics lineup and a milestone for collegiate athletics in Ohio. Kent State becomes the first NCAA Division I institution in the state and fifth in the nation to sponsor women鈥檚 wrestling.
