We are pleased to announce some big changes coming to the Wellness Rewards program:Tier 2 2026 will run from Jan. 1 - Dec. 31, 2026 (instead of ending in October). Students in Kent State University鈥檚 Hospitality and Event Management program had a one-of-a-kind, hands-on learning experience when they planned and staged every part of a mock wedding on Oct. 28 at the Kent State University Hotel and Conference Center.  This experiential learning exercise, called a 鈥渟tyled shoot,鈥 is included in the students鈥 Wedding and Special Events Protocol class and their participation is part of their grade for the class. The School of Art Collection and Galleries is pleased to announce "Metamorphosis," a permanent sculptural installation created by Violet Maimbourg, a Master of Fine Arts graduate student at Kent State University. The work was created for the Healing Garden at the University Hospital Portage Medical Center, offering visitors a space for reflection and peace. This commission grew out of the School of Art鈥檚 annual outdoor student exhibition in the Healing Garden.
