WW2 Style Propaganda Poster - Hurricane Dogs

Students in Comm 42000 - Media, War and Propaganda were assigned to design a poster in the style of the propaganda posters of the Second World War, but with a modern twist. Sara House chose to do her poster on dogs that were displaced and abandoned when Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans in 2005.

Serving as the Chair of the May 4 Task Force has been something communication studies major Avery Hall, 鈥23, describes as one of the most impactful and rewarding experiences she鈥檚 had at Kent State University. 鈥淢ay 4, 1970, is a living legacy at Kent State with relevant implications for students today. Continuing the legacy of May 4th quickly became of great importance to me,鈥 she said.
